Wicket Starter

So one major inefficiency in the Florida Department of Law Enforcement was the starting new project. The old process invovled pulling a "starter application" out of a version control system and then manually renaming files and strings with a tool that had to be licensed. To make this easier, I wrote a bash script that pulled the application out of the version control system and did the renaming. Afterwards, I created Servlets and JSP front end to allow the user an easy way to execute the script. What took 30 minutes before (and was very error prone) now takes less than 10 seconds.
